WELCOME
Welcome to our family homestead and equestrian facility in Northern Orange County. We welcome people of all ages and from all walks of life to come visit and experience how horses can be life changing in so many ways. We are excited for you to see what amazing changes are taking place at SRF.
Update 12/22/2024
We are no longer taking items to ANY distribution sites. We have made friends and formed partnerships with dozens of people in and around the Ashe & Grayson County communities. We now are able to get exactly what farm owners need and take it directly to them. We regret not doing this sooner, but we did the best we could with what we knew.

Above you can find our list of needs. Our top priority is hay, horse hay especially. Hay for goats and cows will also have a home if donated. We have partnered with Equine Collaborative International, a 501c3, that is helping us to coordinate a hay drive. Donations of hay/straw or funding for such are tax deductible.

Donations are also needed to continue purchasing fencing materials, feed, and building materials. We will be working to help rebuild run in sheds, barns, buildings, and fencing.

Every little bit helps!

Other items are also still a need:
Buckets, feed troughs, horse blankets, horse supplements (electrolytes, gut supplements, etc), feed storage containers, animal shelters, feed (livestock, horse, chicken, dog, cat, goat, any kind), etc.
We have also partnered with The Backpack Project Durham (another 501c3) and are accepting warm clothing (NOT warm weather clothing), blankets, coats, coats, and new or lightly used shoes. We ask that if you wouldn't wear it, please don't send it to us to take to folks out there. Many are still without homes. Socks with holes, shirts with stains, and shorts for summer aren't going to help anyone.

We are also are accepting donations of food, formula, diapers, heaters, propane, seasoned fire wood, paper products, dish soap, laundry soap, batteries, dehumidifiers, heavy plastic to cover windows, nails and screws, tin, and more. This has changed over the last few weeks as others in our convoys are continuing to address the needs in other areas.

PLEASE --- NO HAND SANITIZER. We have an abundance of such and are having a hard time taking it anywhere.
